Backdraft Racing Team (BDRT) serves as the racing and development division of our company, boasting a committed Race Team responsible for the upkeep and competitive racing of 12 Cobra race cars across various circuits in South Africa.

Backdraft Cobras Take Over Dezzi Raceway for a Thrilling Race Day

On the 8th March 2025 we had a fantastic turnout for Local Event held at Dezzi Raceway - a 2.5km race track on the KZN South Coast - follow them on Facebook page Dezzi Raceway or Instagram @dezzi.raceway.

The Format was 3 x 7 Lap sprint event and a 1Hour endurance race with a compulsory 4minute Pitstop which was sponsored by Backdraft racing. We had 17 Backdraft Cobras enter the Event and the feedback from the Drivers and Spectators was extremely positive and a credit to the Cars and team involved in the preparation of the Cars.
